[侧眼看世界]Protes Harga Minyak

Found out this alliance website (blog). Just want to share with all my readers. I just back from Indonesia & Thailand recently. I'll agree to the content of it.

Petrol price in Thailand is around 25 bath (2.6RM) per liter but they have a good trunk road connect all the major towns in Thai and NO TOLL. Their car prices are cheaper than Malaysia by 20-40%. While in Indonesia, after 100% hike in last year which lead to a fierceful protest, now their petrol price just 4500 rupee (RM 1.84), still 8 cent cheaper than in Malaysia.

Although Singapore petrol price is much higher than us, but they have a excellent public transport system that them not need to own a car in daily life.

I guess, the wiser people are getting more and more frusted and dissapointed with the goverment. Hope that we can change this rotten goverment by 2008. GOD bless us.

Bangkok has toll - RM4 for highway in the city to avoid traffic jam. I have to say that our petrol price in m'sia is still much cheaper than Thailand(no subsidise from government) but our continental car is much expensive than theirs. You do the calculation...petrol cheap/car expensive better or petrol expensive/car cheap?
